TORINO 2015 CAPITALE
EUROPEA DELLO SPORT
Lo sport abbraccia, accomuna, educa,
emoziona, libera, rispetta, sfreccia, unisce,
vola: sono gli slogan che campeggiano nel
centro di Torino. Sì, perché quest’anno in
tutta Europa quando si parlerà di sport si
parlerà di Torino, di una festa di popolo, di
un’emozione collettiva che animerà la città
eletta a “Capitale Europea dello Sport 2015”.
E quindi, oltre alla tradizionale Turin Marathon
(quest’anno a ottobre) e a grandi eventi di
calcio, ciclismo, scherma, atletica leggera,
corsa, ginnastica artistica, rugby, football
americano, basket, volley, pallanuoto, tuffi,
nuoto sincronizzato, pattinaggio di figura, short
track, sledge hockey, curling, pesistica, arti
marziali, lotta greco-romana, freestyle, volo a
vela, tennistavolo, badminton, tiro… saranno
protagoniste anche discipline più “popolari”
come il calciobalilla e le danze caraibiche
insieme ad altre manifestazioni aperte a tutti!
/ Sport embraces, unites, educates, excites, frees,
respects, zips along and flies: these are the slogans
dominating the centre of Turin. Yes, because this
year, across Europe, when talking of sport the talk
will be of Turin, of a celebration of the people, of
a collective emotion that will animate the city
chosen as the “European Capital of Sport 2015”.
And therefore, in addition to the traditional
TurinMarathon (this year in October) and the
major soccer events, cycling, fencing, athletics,
running, gymnastics, rugby, American football,
basketball, volleyball, water polo, diving,
synchronised swimming, figure skating, short
track, sledge hockey, curling, weight lifting,
martial arts, Greek-Roman wrestling, freestyle,
gliding, table tennis, badminton and archery...
there will also be more “popular” sports such as
table soccer and Caribbean dances together with
other events open to everyone!

CARROZZA A CAVALLO
Il sabato, la domenica e i festivi:
giro del Parco alto di circa 20 minuti
partendo dal Gran Parterre con
una carrozza trainata da due cavalli
per scoprire i panorami e i luoghi
più nascosti del parco.
Il biglietto è acquistabile direttamente
sulla carrozza alla stazione di partenza.
/ On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays:
tour of the upper park of about 20 minutes,
departing from the Grand Parterre with
a carriage drawn by two horses to discover
the sights and hidden places of the park.
Tickets can be purchased directly on the carriage
at the departure station.

LA FRECCIA DI DIANA.
IL TRENINO DEI GIARDINI
La Freccia di Diana, un simpatico
trenino, accompagna i visitatori lungo
le scenografie verdi del Parco basso fino
ai suggestivi resti del Tempio di Diana.
La partenza del Trenino è nei pressi
del punto ristoro Patio dei Giardini.
Giro del Parco basso di circa 25 minuti
con Trenino coperto per 50 posti (con
pedana per 1 posto per disabile).
I bambini sotto i 14 anni devono essere
accompagnati da un adulto.
/ The small train “Arrow of Diana” takes
the visitors along the green scenery of the park
down to the evocative remains of the Temple
of Diana.The departure is near the food court
Patio Gardens. The tour of the park lasts about
25 minutes, 50 seats available (with a platform
lift and 1 disabled seating). Children under
14 must be accompanied by an adult.
